You can save yourself so much grief if you just reboot your WiFi router once a week.
If the firmware supports it, have it do it automatically for you.

I have a Friday Afternoon Checklist that I sometimes follow (used to follow every Friday when I was in an office):
1. Delete anything in Downloads folder that is no longer needed.
2. Move everything else in Downloads folder to their rightful home.
3. Run Defrag (when I was using a Windows computer; now I use Mac)
4. Run CCleaner
5. Clean physical desk while CCleaner is running. That includes wipe down!
6. Restart computer.
7. Finish up work day
8. Restart router on the way out of the office.
